Business and personal tax filing
Your return should be the last step of a year of good records, not a scramble in March. We prepare your federal, state and local returns from the same books we keep all year, have a second tax pro review every one, and walk you through what changed before you sign.
Best for: anyone with self-employment, pass-through or multi-state income.
How it works
Gather
Your documents land in your Vault as they arrive — 1099s, K-1s, statements and receipts. We flag anything missing early, not the week of the deadline.
Prepare
A named tax pro prepares your business and personal returns together, so K-1s, basis and pass-through income line up.
Review
A second reviewer checks the return and a year-over-year variance summary explains every big change from last year.
Sign and file
You see a plain-English summary, approve the return and we e-file. Workpapers stay in your Vault for seven years.
Why it matters
Most return problems start long before the return: a 1099 that never gets matched to income, an expense with no record behind it, or books that don't agree with what's filed. Because we prepare your return from books we've kept all year, the numbers on the return are the same numbers in your ledger and your audit file.
Two reviewers and a variance summary mean fewer surprises for you — and fewer reasons for a tax agency to ask questions later.
Which plans include it
Essentials includes your personal return with Schedule C. Growth and Executive add business returns — S-corporation, partnership and C-corporation — plus multiple entities and states on Executive.

- Can you file an extension if my documents aren't ready?
- Yes. Extension filing and estimated-payment reconciliation are part of the service. An extension gives you more time to file, not more time to pay, so we estimate what's owed with it.
- Do you prepare state and local returns?
- Yes — all state and local returns that go with your federal return, including multi-state situations.
- What if I've been using another preparer?
- Send us your last few years of returns. We review them as part of onboarding and flag anything worth a closer look.
